3rd Wheel is a new comedy web series created by Matthew Hazen. All the music in the show is written, produced, arranged, recorded, performed and mixed by Dominique Scott at Hollow Spirit Studios.

 

The show centers around Dustin and Xander, whose relationship becomes tested when Xander rekindles an old friendship with Katie – his bestie from high school. Dustin quickly finds himself as “the third wheel” and hilarity ensues.

 

The music in the show was inspired by old Looney Tunes cartoons, where the music is continuous and has a very direct, tangible relationship with the storytelling. The music was inspired by a plethora of genres and was performed entirely by Dominique Scott. Mixed in Logic Pro X.
